This booklet marks the first year Sam, the Ersatz editor, and I didn’t have to personally collate and staple every copy. Through a friend of a friend, we found a cheap printer. Nowall we had to do was lay out the art and wait for it to comeback. Wow, talk about luxury! Again, I took an idea from this sketchbook for a later comic.The Freak Show of the Less Than Bizarre (including the“Siamese Cat,” “Bearded Man,” “Slightly Paunchy Woman,”and “Identical Twins”) was repurposed a few years laterfor the Monkeysuit Comics collective, an anthology series featuring New York City animators, including The VentureBros.’s Jackson Publick and a few guys who are now at Pixar.
